Website terms · pre-launch draft

Using this website.

These terms govern the current informational website. They do not create a blood-testing or clinical-services contract.

1. Website operator

The site is currently operated for the pre-launch AK-LABS Manchester project. The full legal operator name, company number where applicable, registered office and contact details will be published before bookings open.

2. Information, not personal advice

Content is general information about a planned service. It is not personalised medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a recommendation to buy a particular test. Use an appropriate healthcare professional for individual decisions.

3. Emergencies

AK-LABS is not an emergency service. Call 999 or attend A&E for an immediate risk to life; contact NHS 111 for urgent medical advice.

4. Pre-launch information

Panels, prices, analytes, location, partners, clinicians, turnaround and availability remain indicative until confirmed. AK-LABS aims to keep the website accurate but may correct or update pre-launch information.

5. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful material, scrape personal information, impersonate AK-LABS or use the content unlawfully.

6. Intellectual property

AK-LABS branding and original website content may be used for personal information purposes. They may not be commercially copied, republished as another provider’s content or used to imply endorsement without permission.

7. External links

External links are provided for convenience and source context. AK-LABS does not control external availability or endorse every statement, product or service on a linked site.

8. Availability and liability

The site may be changed, suspended or unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights.

9. Privacy and changes

See the privacy notice and cookies page. Material changes to these terms will be dated. The laws of England and Wales are expected to apply, without removing mandatory rights available to consumers elsewhere in the UK.
