What may be used
The website host may use essential technical storage or request information needed to deliver pages, balance traffic, protect against abuse and maintain security. The protected staff workspace also uses strictly necessary sign-in technology from the secure identity provider to maintain an authenticated session. Blocking it will prevent staff access. These technologies are not used by AK-LABS to build health profiles or target adverts. Before launch, the exact provider, purpose, duration and first- or third-party status of each technology will be documented here.
What is not currently used
- No AK-LABS advertising pixels.
- No behavioural remarketing.
- No customer patient-portal or booking cookies.
- No optional audience analytics intentionally installed by AK-LABS.
Future changes
If optional analytics, booking or preference technology is introduced, AK-LABS will update this page and, where required, obtain a valid choice before the technology is set. Rejecting optional technology will be as straightforward as accepting it, and any available objection control will be clear and free to use.
Browser controls
You can use browser settings to remove or block storage, although blocking technology that is strictly necessary may affect website operation. Contact clinic@ak-labs.co.uk with a website-privacy question.
