- Entrance, step-free route, lift, doorway and toilet information.
- Reception, waiting and privacy arrangements.
- Opening hours, late-arrival guidance and a day-of-appointment contact route.
Requesting an adjustment
Before booking opens, AK-LABS will provide a clear route to request communication support, alternative formats, assistance with access, additional time or another reasonable adjustment. Relevant information will be shared only with staff who need it to arrange the service.
Collection safety
Tell the collection team before the appointment if you have previously fainted, had difficulty with venous collection or need a positioning adjustment. The final clinic pathway will include an appropriate recovery area and incident process.
